Inbound Marketing Incentives Tip: Show Them the Door

Posted May 27th, 2013

When prospects land on your website, make sure the gateway to your Inbound Marketing incentive is easy for them to find. Don’t bury the offering down at the bottom of the page or make it difficult for them to find it.

We don’t want our content to compete with or distract prospects from the incentive either. Rather than just offering the incentive on one page, why not put hot buttons to the incentive throughout the site. Remembering the goal of inbound marketing is to get prospects to request an incentive in exchange for their contact info.

If prospects have to click through several pages and layers to find your incentive, they may grow frustrated and leave before the actual exchange happens. Direct the visual flow across your site & landing pages to move prospects easily toward access to the incentive/contact exchange form.
